Advanced Selenium | Workshop Leaders: Andrew Krug, Titus FortnerBuilding on a basic understanding of how to create Selenium and Appium tests, this day-long course provides an overview of good testing strategies and then explores ways to achieve them via various test framework components (including test writing, page objects, data modeling, and synchronization strategies), as well as how to execute at scale using Sauce Labs. Best Practices in Automated & Parallel Testing | Workshop Leader: Nikolay AdvolodkinThis workshop will cover test automation best practices as we take a suite of bad tests, break them down and transform them into an amazing suite of tests. The tests will use industry best practices such as the most efficient Selenium waits, page objects, parallelization techniques and more. The workshop will use object-oriented approaches in test design to create efficient and reliable tests that you can be proud of for the rest of your life. Learn more.
Advanced Appium | Workshop Leaders: Sai Krishna, Srinivasan Sekarin this session you'll learn about advanced concepts in Appium, including Appium Architecture, platform-wise desired capabilities, and starting/stopping an Appium server programmatically. You will also learn how to write a single script for Android, iOS and mobile web apps. Once your tests are established, we will work on framework design and reporting. We will also have a detailed look at how we can automate various mobile gestures using the Actions API within Appium, after which we’ll run distributed tests in parallel on various emulators and simulators. Sauce Deep Dive: Getting the most out of Headless, Performance, and the REST API | Workshop Leaders: James Tacker, Josh GrantThis workshop will introduce attendees to advanced Sauce Labs features, including extended debugging, Sauce Performance, Sauce Headless, Analytics, and the Sauce Labs REST API. The course will also cover the use of data and analytics with automated testing to optimize test performance, including data analysis to help teams debug more quickly, as well as creating dashboards using the Sauce Labs REST API. Cancellation & Substitutions
If you need to cancel for any reason you can notify us in writing by March 25, 2020. Please contact us via email at email@example.com. Cancellations within 30 days of SauceCon are non-refundable. You may transfer your registration to another person by April 17, 2020 by providing authorization to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Photography and Recording
Photos or videos taken by or on behalf of Sauce Labs may be posted on the SauceCon website or used in future marketing promotion. It’s possible that you would appear in some of these photographs. We invite you to speak directly with a SauceCon representative or with any photographer if you have concerns about their activities.
